tired I'm not really angry at my grandmother or anything, I'm just still sleepy..luckily I managed to fall asleep early last night (my grandmother had mentioned to me apparently yesterday that this was happening, but I don't really remember it...I was tired yesterday too because I hadn't slept well the night before). But I'm still half-asleep right now, sitting in the Student Center cafeteria randomly browsing through my flist and deciding what I'm conscious enough to comment on at the moment without sounding like a total idiot due to my tiredness...
Oh yes, to anyone who hasn't heard...:

kelbebopwas awesome enough to copy and post not f-locked to her LJ) about gay rights in the 1970s (explaining his new film Milk and giving release dates and brief summary for some of his other films--but mostly on gay rights) and then claims that playing a gay character doesn't make him gay (but he's not exactly denying he is either--he can't come right out and say he is on his site since so many little girls are visiting it and their parents may boycott his movies if he did, including HSM3). Hopefully, our society will let him speak more freely on the subject he's obviously quite passionate about in the near future. But it still makes me happy to hear him talking about it with such obvious heart and interest. He may not be Ryan Evans, but I still love him and he seems like a great role model.
Obama has apparently all but won the Democratic Party presidential nomination . Yay Obama! But there's no way Hilary can be the VP. I just can't see the two of them working together well, or her taking the second place type of posistion. I should really start watching the news more often again, I've been missing SO MUCH lately, all my news is coming from Wikipedia and my f-list! Which is really sad. I'll probably have more to say on this when I'm not struggling to keep my eyes open or tempted to use my keyboard as a pillow.

Will do my best to post some more things more read-worthy more often. My posts have been sporadic lately...(XD and more HP-themed than I had realized--not that there's anything bad with that, but I'm somewhat insulted to find my family thinks that HP is a more respectable obsession than Disney or HSM, when I react the same way to both).

So, okay, Lex isn't gay. But the slashiness of Clark and Lex IS questionable. So my mind has made up sebtext, and makes me think that Ryan is gay, and like, that's the proof or something. If his actor thinks he's gay, then it's gotta be true! (Not that we needed much proof with Ryan... Like, hello!)

And my friend and I are in agreement that Lucas sounded TOO defensive about his sexuality. And he didn't DENY that he was gay (Or did he? I can't remember now!). Just saying that because he plays gay boys doesn't mean he is one. I still think he is :P Marc/Lucas ftw!
Oh yes!!! I hope so!!! That would be so good! It'd be even more awesome if Ryan outshone Sharpay's fabulousness at the prom!! XDXDXD

And.. Obama! I'm so excited. I was at this huge Obama Rally before the PA primaries, it's all so cool and historic! Awesome. I agree though, an Obama/Clinton ticket just doesn't seem like a good idea to me. Too much pride involved.

:) Cool about the rally! And yes, way too much pride. And I think the mudslinging would continue into the White House unfortunately too if they did run together, so it's better they part ways after the election.

um...a)he never said he wasn't, he said not to assume he was because ryan might be
and b)you are doing exactly what he's expecting you to do, assuming he's gay because he is a dancer and has good fashion and crap like that and hello, that's half the battle.

And regardless of his sexuality (although I do like to entertain the idea of him being gay, I won't like him any less if he is actually straight given that what gender he prefers really doesn't matter), I'm thrilled he's obviously passionate on the subject of gay rights. And that he IS talking about it to his younger fans...it just makes me love him so much. :D
But yes, it's sad that his talk is receiving the opposite reaction from his older(? I'm assuming that's who you're referring to here) fans.

You know what I do? My all the time e-mail account is yahoo! and I go and there are the news stories there - and I read those. They're all from the AP so I know they're accurate, and my bff goes onto MSN and they have that stuff too. It's really easy. There're links like, right on the outer wall type thing of my inbox - so I see the headlines all the time. That's how I keep informed.

:( Yeah, the woman though got sent back to the hospital today (the reason my grandmother had to go in early was because the woman insisted on coming home EARLY with no one but her son [who really doesn't want to take care of her and so called my grandmother in that night] to help her out).
